Refund & Returns Policy – Virdale Living (Alvara Limited)

1. Overview
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Virdale Living.
If something isn’t right, this policy explains how to return items and request a refund in line with UK consumer law.
2. Return Window
You can return your order within 30 days of receiving it.
Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
3. How to Start a Return
To begin a return, please email info@virdaleliving.com with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for return (optional)
We will reply with return instructions and the correct return address.
4. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping proof of postage until your refund is processed.
5. Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 working days.
Please note:
- Shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable.
- We may deduct an amount if returned goods show signs of use or damage.
6. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you need a different item, please place a new order once your refund is confirmed.
7. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives faulty or damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@virdaleliving.com with photos of the issue.
We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no extra cost.
8. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene or practical reasons, including:
- Opened or used items
- Digital downloads or guides
- Personalized or custom-made products
9. Marketplace Orders
If you purchased through Amazon, Etsy, or TikTok Shop, please initiate the return directly through that platform in line with their policies.
We will always support legitimate claims but must follow each marketplace’s return system.
